LSH University

The purpose of this Certification in Low Stress Handling® is to provide the teaching content needed to understand and improve the individual or hospital’s ability to create a low stress environment and handle animals in a less stressful manner.

VECCS

The purpose of the Society is to promote the advancement of knowledge and high standards of practice in veterinary emergency medicine and critical patient care.

 

Vet Tech Cafe

Vet Tech Café is a podcast centered around Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Nurses. We strive to discuss current issues faced by Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Nurses and give our colleagues a voice and a medium to enter into these discussions. With over 45 years of combined experience in the field and varied connections with other Technicians and Nurses, we will also bring to light other career paths that aren’t strictly working in the hospital setting.

AVTAA

The Academy of Veterinary Technicians in Anesthesia and Analgesia (AVTAA) exists to promote interest in the discipline of veterinary anesthesia and provides a process to become credentialed as a Veterinary Technician Specialist.

 

Veterinary Anesthesia Nerds

The Veterinary Anesthesia Nerds Facebook page was created in 2013 as a closed group for enthusiasts of veterinary anesthesia and analgesia. The Nerd’s page has been instrumental in elevating the practice of veterinary anesthesia and analgesia within many clinics in addition to the platform being used for new product development, scientific research data collection and a true community of Nerds that are dedicated to bettering the care of animals in their care.
